Description:

  • Child’s Dream support more than 200 different projects in the Mekong Sub-Region. Their projects range from nursery schools to primary and secondary schools up to high schools and junior colleges. Highly educated youths will be future leaders, will promote tolerance and diversity and will contribute to a peaceful life in the communities. As for all their projects, programs and activities, Child’s Dream promotes diversity and supports children and teenagers regardless of religion, ethnicity and gender.
  • 100% scholarship covering tuition fees, housing, living, transportation, etc. for the duration of the course (you do NOT have to re-apply annually) only a selected numbers of universities and programmes in Thailand are supported (see Child’s Dream university scholarship application form)

Eligibility and Restrictions:

  • Scholarships sponsored change annually according to various donor criteria and funding

  • Applications available: click here
  • Late applications will not be considered, so apply early
  •  Child’s Dream only gives out university scholarships for selected programmes in Thailand on undergraduate level (no MA/MSc or PhD scholarships)

Attachments:

  • Child’s Dream application form including one recent passport photograph
  • if available: copy of any preliminary or final admission document to your chosen university course
  • if available: official university letters informing you of tuition fee wavers or other financial support that is grated to you
  • copy of your valid passport or ID (photo page only) to provide evidence of your Myanmar origin
  • copies of your current and all additional academic transcripts
  • copies of TOEFL, IELTs, or equivalent results of other language tests if relevant and available
  • two reference letters, from an academic adviser and the other from a responsible adult (non- family member) who is familiar with your work and potential
  • 3 essays
  • any additional information you feel may be helpful in the evaluation of your case
