YSEALI Regional Workshop on Good Governance and Civil Society
There are many players navigating these shrinking spaces of good governance, but the most important ones, who create the biggest impact, are civil society and youth. Civil society holds the role of pushback against repression, playing the watchdog role, and ensuring general checks and balances. Youth of all kinds – leaders, community influencers, activists, social change-makers, and educators – are the powerful vehicle to drive this change.
