Ireland Fellows Programme – Asia 2021-2022

The Ireland Fellows Programme enables early to mid-career professionals from eligible countries, with leadership potential, to benefit from a prestigious, world-class, quality education contributing to capacity building. It offers selected students the opportunity to undertake a fully funded one-year master’s level programme at a higher education institution (HEI) in Ireland. The award covers programme fees, flights, accommodation and living costs. Eligible master’s level programmes in Ireland commence in August or September each year and, depending on the programme, will run for between 10 and 16 months. The Ireland Fellows Programme promotes equal opportunity and welcomes diversity.

The aims of the Programme are to nurture future leaders; to develop in-country capacity to achieve national SDG goals; and to build positive relationships with Ireland.

On return home, graduates are expected to bring their acquired skills to contribute to capacity building in their home countries. It is also envisaged that they will contribute to building enduring positive personal and professional relationships with Ireland, promoting institutional linkages.

The Ireland Fellows Programme is fully funded by the Irish Government and is offered under the auspices of the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA). It aligns with the Irish Government’s commitment under Global Ireland and the national implementation plan for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Ireland’s Policy for International Development, and Ireland’s International Education Strategy. The programme is managed by the relevant Embassy responsible for eligible countries. Programme implementation in Ireland is supported by the Irish Council for International Students (ICOS).

Global Peace Summit Turkey 2020

Global Peace Summit Turkey 2020 (GPST) is providing opportunities to extraordinary young, competent and enthusiastic peace builders from 100+ countries. One, we develop their ideas and road maps moving closer to achieve the sustainable development goals. Two, we advocate for peace in their communities in order to counter extreme violence, hate and all forms of discrimination.

This summit aims to inspire youth to sharpen skills of peace education, facilitate the exchange of ideas and project sharing, and new network to form with like-minded individuals and world leaders.

This summit will provide an opportunity to students and young leaders to bring solutions and projects on “Reshaping Youth Response to UNSDGs” by participation in different peace sessions, talks, group discussions and activities with international delegates and speakers.

Global Peace Summit Turkey 2020 will foster mutual understanding and harness capacity building of youth. Social harmony, exposure, and ideation creates new impact. GPST also aims to engage young people in conflict resolution, amplify their voice for social justice and create harmonious environment among communities & societies.

Konrad Adenauer School for Young Politicians KASYP 2021-2022 Batch-12

Freedom, justice and solidarity are the basic principles underlying the work of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS). The KAS is a political foundation, closely associated with the Christian Democratic Union of Germany (CDU). As co-founder of the CDU and the first Chancellor of the Federal Republic of Germany, Konrad Adenauer (1876-1967) united Christian-social, conservative and liberal traditions. His name is synonymous with the democratic reconstruction of Germany, the firm alignment of foreign policy with the trans-Atlantic community of values, the vision of a unified Europe and an orientation towards the social market economy. His intellectual heritage continues to serve both as our aim as well as our obligation today.

In our European and international cooperation efforts we work for people to be able to live self-determined lives in freedom and dignity. We make a contribution underpinned by values to helping Germany meet its growing responsibilities throughout the world.

Orange Knowledge Programme

The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to advance the development of the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals as well as organisations in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education and in other fields related to priority themes in the OKP partner countries. The scholarships are awarded in a very competitive selection to highly motivated professionals who are in a position to introduce the newly-acquired skills and knowledge into their employing organisation. The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to contribute to a society’s sustainable and inclusive development. Its scholarships are open to mid-career professionals in specific countries.

2021-2022 Academic Year Scholarships for Myanmar National

The Fulbright Foreign Student Scholarship gives full scholarship funding to students from Myanmar seeking a Master’s Degree at a university in the United States of America. Please find the attached announcement for detailed information.
TheHumphrey Fellowship is a one-year funded program that sends accomplished professionals to the United States for graduate-level academic coursework and related professional experiences. Fellows are selected based on their potential for national leadership and commitment to public service in either the public or private sector. The Humphrey Program is NOT a degree program and grants are NOT renewable. Please find the attached announcement for detailed information.

Orange Knowledge Programme in the Netherlands

On 1 July 2017, the Netherlands Fellowship Programmes (NFP) entered a new phase as a new programme under the name Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP). OKP is initiated and fully funded by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Orange Knowledge Programme aims to advance the development of the capacity, knowledge and quality of both individuals as well as organisations in the field of Technical and Vocational Education and Training and Higher Education and in other fields related to priority themes in the OKP partner countries. 2020 Shandong Provincial Government Scholarship at Shangdong Normal University

SDNU has participated in “Quality Project” of the Ministry of Education. Four people are awarded with the National Distinguished Teacher. The university has been honored with 14 National Teaching Achievements Awards, built two national teaching groups, carried out one project of national comprehensive reform pilot, nine national specialty construction sites, four national excellent courses, four national sharing courses, one national demonstration course of bilingual teaching, one national trial plot of talent training, one off-campus practical education center for college students, and 730 projects of National Innovation and Entrepreneurship of college students and compiled six textbooks for the 12th 5-year plan. It is the first university to carry out a “national training plan”, which has received the honorable title of Advanced Unit of Enrollment and College Graduates Employment. The university has won a gold award and been honored as Advanced Group in “Internet Plus” – an Innovation and Entrepreneurship Contest for College Students – for two consecutive years. An undergraduate team won the award of “Technology and Innovation Team in Memory of Deng Xiaoping” and obtained the First Prize and Outstanding Organization Award of National Smart City Technology and Creative Design Competition. In 2007, SDNU was evaluated to be excellent in the national evaluation of undergraduate teaching conducted by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China.

Youth of all kinds – leaders, community influencers, activists, social change-makers, and educators – are the powerful vehicle to drive this change.
