Schwarzman Scholars Announces Class of 2021

Every year, up to 200 Schwarzman Scholars will represent the world’s next generation of leaders — high-caliber individuals with open minds and limitless potential — a network of leaders who will serve as bridges between China and the rest of the world.

Schwarzman Scholars will be selected on the basis of not only their academic aptitude and intellectual ability, but also their leadership potential, entrepreneurial spirit, ability to anticipate and act on emerging trends and opportunities, exemplary character, and desire to understand other cultures, perspectives and positions.

All qualified candidates will have successfully completed their undergraduate degrees prior to enrollment and must be proficient in English.

Tianjin University International Student Scholarship School of Environment Science and Engineering

Tianjin University is a National Key University directly under the administration of the Ministry of the Education, and its history can be traced back to Peiyang University, the first modern university in China, which was founded on October 2, 1895. It was renamed Tianjin University after the nationwide restructuring of colleges and departments in 1951. In 1959, Tianjin University was identified as one of the first batch of the 16 National Key Universities designated by the government, and it is also among the first group of institutions of higher learning to be included into the “211” and “985″ Projects of national investment for developing world class universities.

2020 Fujian Government Scholarship at Fujian Normal University

Fujian Normal University (FNU), a century-old university based in Fuzhou, a historic cultural city known as “Land of Culture on the Coast”, is a time-honored and well-acclaimed provincial institution of higher learning. Founded as Fujian Superior Normal School in 1907 by the famous late-Qing scholar Chen Baochen, who once served as the teacher of China’s last emperor, the present-day FNU went through a few changes—merging with the former Hwa-Nan Women’s College of Arts and Sciences, Fukien Christian University and Fujian Provincial Teachers School respectively—to form Fujian Teachers College in 1953. In 1972, the University was renamed Fujian Normal University and has been thus referred to since then.

Jasmine Jiangsu Government Scholarship at Hohai University

Hohai University is among the first batch of state-authorizing universities to award bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees to foreign students. Chinese Government Scholarship at Hohai University

Situated in the old capital city Nanjing, Hohai University (HHU) has a one-hundred-year-long history and enjoys high prestige.As a key comprehensive university under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Education, HHU has upgraded itself with good momentum of development in hydraulic engineering and water resources as its main focus, education of engineering subjects as its first priority, and coordinated development of a wide array of disciplines covering engineering, sciences, economics, management, liberal arts, and law, ranking among China’s top universities in its teaching indexes and overall strength.

2020 Chinese Government Scholarship at Jiangxi University of Finance and Economics

In order to promote the mutual understanding, cooperation and exchanges in various fields between China and other countries, the Chinese government has set up a series of scholarship programs to sponsor international students, teachers, and scholars to study and conduct research in Chinese universities. Chinese University Program(type B) is a full scholarship for designated Chinese universities and certain provincial education offices in specific provinces or autonomous regions to recruit outstanding international students for graduate studies in China. Applicants shall apply to the designated Chinese universities undertaking this program.

Fujian Provincial Government Scholarships for 2020 at Xiamen University
