Scholarship Programs at Jiangsu University

Jiangsu University (JSU) was founded by combining the former Jiangsu University of Science and Technology, Zhenjiang Medical College and Zhenjiang Teachers’ College with the approval of the Ministry of Education of China in August, 2001. It has now successfully developed to be a comprehensive teaching and research oriented university with strength of engineering. Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program at Dalian University of Technology (DUT)

DUT is a national key university under the direct leadership of ministry of education of China. It also is one of the ” 211 project” and “985 project” key universities. 2021 Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Zhejiang University

Zhejiang University is an institution of higher learning with a long history and an outstanding reputation. It is located in Hangzhou, a famous historical and cultural city and scenic tourist destination in China. The predecessor of Zhejiang University, Qiushi Academy, was founded in 1897 and was one of the earliest new-style colleges and universities founded by the Chinese themselves. In 1928, it was named National Zhejiang University. During the Anti-Japanese War, the Zhejiang University moved westward, running schools in Zunyi, Meitan, Guizhou and other places for seven years, and moved back to Hangzhou in the autumn of 1946.

Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU)

Scholarship Program Tsinghua University (THU)

The campus of Tsinghua University is situated in northwest Beijing on the site of the former imperial gardens of the Qing Dynasty, and surrounded by a number of historical sites.
Tsinghua University was established in 1911, originally under the name “Tsinghua Xuetang”. The school was renamed “Tsinghua School” in 1912. The university section was founded in 1925. The name “National Tsinghua University” was adopted in 1928.

The faculty greatly valued the interaction between Chinese and Western cultures, the sciences and humanities, the ancient and modern. Tsinghua scholars Wang Guowei, Liang Qichao, Chen Yinque and Zhao Yuanren, renowned as the “Four Tutors” in the Institute of Chinese Classics, advocated this belief and had a profound impact on Tsinghua’s later development.

2021-2022 Chinese Government Scholarship Program Harbin Institute of Technology

Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) was established in 1920 in Harbin, Heilongjiang, China. In 1954, HIT became one of China’s first six leading universities. Presently HIT is a member of China’s top nine University Union (C9). It is a National Key University with science and engineering as its core and has developed to include management, liberal arts, economy, law and other disciplines. In the US News ranking for the Best Global Universities for Engineering, HIT ranked No.2 in China and No.6 globally.

For international students out of China only who want to study master or PhD degree can apply for HIT Independent Recruitment Program. HIT Independent Recruitment Program covers tuition fee, accommodation fee, stipend and insurance fee. It is one of the programs of Chinese Government Scholarship (hereinafter referred to as CSC scholarship) and assigned from Ministry of Education (hereinafter referred to as MOE) to the university to recruit outstanding international students. Applicants need to submit the application materials according to school requirements. HIT will select the best applicants and recommend to the China Scholarship Council.

Chinese Government Scholarship of Northeast Agricultural University

Northeast Agricultural University, founded in Harbin in 1948 and originally named Northeast Agricultural College, is a key university directly under Heilongjiang province and one of universities of Project “211”. It is located in No.59 Mucai Street, XiangFang District, Harbin.

NEAU comprises 18 colleges and 1 Education Department, covering the disciplines of Agronomy, Engineering, Science, Economics and Management. There are 3 key disciplines of national level, 3 key (under cultivation) disciplines of national level, 2 key disciplines under the Agricultural Ministry, 2 key disciplines of provincial level, 6 first-class provincial key disciplines and 29 second–class ones.

NEAU is entitled to verify the proficiency of the professors, associate professors and PhD tutors. It has a balanced teaching structure and relatively high overall teaching level with 1097 full-time teachers, among which there are 195 professors and 256 associate professors, and 418 have Master’s Degree and 326 own Doctoral Degree. Among the teachers, one is Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, and one of them was awarded “HeLiangHeLi Fund” prize for progress in Science and Technology. There are 1 national outstanding teacher, 8 “Longjiang Scholars” engaged professors, 3 guest professors, 13 teachers awarded HuoYingDong Teacher Fund and Youth Teacher Prize, 3 nominated teachers as experts making outstanding contributions and 161 PhD tutors.

Chang’an University Innovation Scholarship

Directly affiliated to the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China, Chang’an University is one of the State 211 Project key development universities jointly run by the Ministry of Education, Ministry of Transport, Ministry of Land Resources, Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Construction and Shaanxi Provincial Government. It is concurrently one of the key development universities on the State “985” Project advantage discipline innovation platform. The university was officially established in the year 2000 by merging the former Xi’an Highway University, Xi’an Engineering Institute and Northwest Institute of Construction Engineering, which were founded in the early 1950s. Chang’an University is located in the historical and cultural city of Xi’an and covers an area of more than 3,755 mu (approximately 250 hectares). The university comprises two teaching campuses and two practice bases. Through its 60 years of development, it has evolved into an influential comprehensive higher institution in China, with engineering as its main discipline focus, combining engineering with sciences, and with multidisciplinary development in economy, management and humanities. It has graduated more than 250,000 talents of different levels, mainly in the fields of highway transportation, land resources and environment and construction engineering.

PRESIDENT SCHOLARSHIP OF Lanzhou University of Technology LUT

Lanzhou University of Technology (LUT) is situated in Lanzhou, an important city on the ancient Silk Road and the capital city of Gansu Province, China. LUT was formerly called Gansu Provincial Technical College in 1919. Then it became Gansu University of Technology in 1958, and was renamed Lanzhou University of Technology in 2003. After nearly one hundred years of development, LUT has grown to be a top multi-disciplinary university, which features solid foundation in Engineering, increasing development in science fields, and unique characteristics in liberal arts.

LUT encompasses nine fields of study, i.e., Engineering, Science, Management, Literature, Legal Studies, Education, Medicine, Fine Arts and Economics. It holds 16 provincial key disciplines and 4 national defense disciplines, among which two disciplines—Engineering and Materials Science—rank among top 1% of ESI International Ranking. There are 5 postdoctoral research stations, 6 first-level discipline doctoral degree programs, 25 second-level discipline doctoral degree programs, 23 first-level discipline master degree programs, 92 second-level discipline master degree programs and 66 undergraduate programs in LUT, all of which are available for international students.

Central South University Scholarship (CSU Scholarship) for International Students

CSU was established in April 2000 by merging the former Hunan Medical University (HMU), the former Changsha Railway University (CRU) and the former Central South University of Technology (CSUT). The predecessor of CSUT was Central South Institute of Mining and Metallurgy founded in 1952 and that of CRU was Central South College of Civil Engineering and Architecture founded in 1953; their main disciplines originate in Mining & Metallurgy and Civil Engineering, two disciplines of Hunan Industrial College established in 1903. The predecessor of HMU was Xiangya Medical College founded in 1914 as one of China’s earliest colleges offering western medicine courses.
