2021-2022 Yangzhou University Scholarship for International Students

Yangzhou University (YZU) is co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government and the Ministry of Education of China. It is a key comprehensive university of Jiangsu Province, and one of the first authorized to grant both master’s and doctoral degrees. The history of YZU can be traced back to as early as 1902, when its predecessors, Tongzhou Private Teachers’ School and Tonghai Agricultural School, were established.

Based on the motto of being perseverant and self-reliant, YZU’s education features a rich legacy in humanities, advantages in agricultural sciences, integration of sciences and humanities, and a harmonious development of each major discipline. Currently there are over 25,000 full-time undergraduate students and more than 11,000 postgraduate students on YZU campuses, among which over 2,000 are overseas students. Among the 2,300 full-time teachers there are 2 Academicians of the Chinese Academy of Engineering. 2021 Shandong University “Chinese Government Scholarship-University Graduate Program & Silk Road Program”

Shandong University is a comprehensive university in China with full-fledged academic disciplines. There are at present 12 general disciplines for undergraduates and postgraduates, namely philosophy, economics, law, education, literature, history, science, engineering, agriculture, medicine, management, and fine arts. There are 44 first-level doctoral programs, 51 first-level master degree programs, 93 programs for undergraduates and 42 post-doctoral research programs, forming a complete system for cultivation of talent. 18 disciplines are ranked in the top 1% of ESI Global Ranking in terms of academic influence and contribution capacity. Moreover, inter-school partnership has been forged with more than 200 schools in over 30 countries and regions.

The growth of the university over the years has seen SDU rise to the forefront of many fields in China. In the 1930s and 1950s, when Shandong University was located in Qingdao, it was the home to many nationally famous scholars who paved the way for great success especially in the fields of literature and history. Up to this day, Shandong University is well-known for its strong liberal arts programs, and published the highly reputable academic journal Literature, History & Philosophy. These two periods also laid a good foundation for the university in natural sciences, enabling it to find itself among the noted institutions in China. In August 2015, SDU successfully held the 22nd International Congress of Historical Sciences, reputed as the “Olympics of Historiography”. Chinese Government Scholarships-Chinese University Program at Xiamen University 2021

Xiamen University (XMU) , established in 1921 by renowned patriotic overseas Chinese leader Mr. Tan Kah Kee, is the first university founded by an overseas Chinese in the history of modern Chinese education. XMU has long been listed among China’s leading universities on the national 211 Project, 985 Project and Double First-class initiative, which have been launched by the Chinese government to support selected universities in achieving world-class standing. Xiamen University Malaysia Campus is the first overseas branch campus established by a prestigious Chinese university.

With a graduate school, 6 academic divisions consisting of 29 schools and colleges, and 15 research institutes, XMU boasts a total enrollment of nearly 40,000 full-time students (including 1,300 international students), i.e. 20,000 undergraduates, 16,500 graduate students toward a master’s degree, 4,300 doctoral candidates.

XMU currently has a faculty of over 2,700 full-time teachers and researchers, of whom 22 are the members of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (including 9 who are employed simultaneously by other institutions).

Fu Jen Catholic University (FJCU) Fall 2021 Admission

Fu Jen Catholic University is a comprehensive university founded by the Holy See. Originally established in Beijing in 1925, Fu Jen was re-established in Taiwan in 1961. With a history spanning 95 years, the university currently has 12 colleges/schools, 50 undergraduate programs, 49 master’s programs, and 12 PhD programs. FJCU has a student population of 27,000, hosts 160 student-run organizations/clubs, and, as part of active efforts to promote international exchange, has signed partnership agreements with 420 institutions. Now over half a century old, our Center of Chinese Language and Learning offers students the chance to learn Chinese in small classes as well as many chances to take part in cultural activities. Campus is located in the Greater Taipei area, and the metro right at our doorstep means it takes only 20 minutes to travel right into the heart of Taipei.

The academic year of Fu Jen consists of two semesters. The first semester (fall term) begins in September and runs till January; the second semester (spring term) begins in February and ends in June.

Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Jiangnan University

Jiangnan University (JNU) is situated in Wuxi, which is located in the southern part of Jiangsu Province. Approximately 128 km. away from Shanghai, Wuxi occupies an area of 4,787.61 square kilometers and has a population of 6.34 million, including 2.2 million dwellers in the city center. Wuxi’s transportation conveniently offers the Shanghai International Airport, about a two-and-a-half hour drive to the east, and the local Wuxi Airport, accessible to many domestic cities in China and some Asian countries. During a long history—over three thousand years—Wuxi has remained an important metropolis in terms of agriculture, business, commerce, and culture. Wuxi is also famous for its numerous distinguished citizens, dating from ancient times to the present. Thus, the highly developed local economy, convenient transportation, and quality education have laid solid foundations for the development of Jiangnan University, a university with even equally distinguishing features.
The faculty at Jiangnan University consists of 1,668 members, including 1,068 professors and associate professors. Also JNU boasts one academician from the China Academy of Engineering; ten winners achieved the National Outstanding Youth Foundation and the honor of Cheung Kong Scholars; twelve staff members are supported by the Programs of One Thousand Global Experts and One Thousand Young Global Experts; over 1,100 professors and associate professors. Among the team, 22.4% of the faculty have experience abroad. There are two National Innovation Teams and four Jiangsu Province Innovation Teams. The academic research group, represented by over eight hundred Master and PhD supervisors, has built a solid foundation for scientific innovation and the training of high-level personnel.

Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Jilin University 2021

ilin University, located in Changchun City, Jilin Province, was founded in 1946. Currently, there are 71,920 full-time students and 6,524 faculty members in total, among which there are 2,062 professors and 1,137 doctoral advisors. There are 10 academicians of the Chinese Academy of Sciences or the Chinese Academy of Engineering, 33 dual-employed academicians, 7 senior professors philosophical and social sciences, 20 in the “Ten- Plan”. In 2017, Jilin University was selected as one of the universities under the Double First Class University Plan and was incorporated into the list of 36 first-class Category A universities . Five disciplines, including archeology, mathematics, physics, chemistry, and materials science and engineering were selected as First Class Disciplines. According to 2018 Evaluation and Study Report of Universities in China released by the Chinese Universities Alumni Association, Jilin University ranks the 10th among the top 100 Chinese universities.

East China Normal University Admission for Master’s Programs 2021

Founded in Shanghai in October 1951, East China Normal University (ECNU) is one of the most prestigious universities in China sponsored by the national top university construction programs “Project 211” and “Project 985”. Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Hohai University

Founded in 1915, Hohai University is a key state university under the direct administration of Ministry of Education of China. Specialized in the research of water conservancy and education of engineering programs, the University provides disciplines ranging from engineering, science to economics, management, liberal arts, and law. It is a member of the University of Project 211, a cross-century project formulated by the Chinese government for the implementation of the strategy of invigorating the country through science, technology and education.

Currently, there are 3,409 faculty members and 46, 921 students. The University consists of 19 colleges and departments, with 12 post-doctoral programs, 78 Ph.D. programs, 233 master programs, 18 engineering master programs, 11 professional master programs (including MBA, MPA, MSW) and 51 undergraduate programs. Besides, the University houses one key state laboratory and one national engineering research center.

The main campus is located in Gulou District of Nanjing (No.1, Xikang Road), with two other campuses in Jiangning District (Nanjing) and Xinbei District (Changzhou), occupying an area of about 153 hectares in total.
