Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Hohai University

Founded in 1915, Hohai University is a key state university under the direct administration of Ministry of Education of China. Specialized in the research of water conservancy and education of engineering programs, the University provides disciplines ranging from engineering, science to economics, management, liberal arts, and law. It is a member of the University of Project 211, a cross-century project formulated by the Chinese government for the implementation of the strategy of invigorating the country through science, technology and education.

Currently, there are 3,409 faculty members and 46, 921 students. The University consists of 19 colleges and departments, with 12 post-doctoral programs, 78 Ph.D. programs, 233 master programs, 18 engineering master programs, 11 professional master programs (including MBA, MPA, MSW) and 51 undergraduate programs. Besides, the University houses one key state laboratory and one national engineering research center.

The main campus is located in Gulou District of Nanjing (No.1, Xikang Road), with two other campuses in Jiangning District (Nanjing) and Xinbei District (Changzhou), occupying an area of about 153 hectares in total.

Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program

The Fulbright Teaching Excellence and Achievement (TEA) Program provides international teachers with a unique opportunity to develop greater expertise in their subject areas, enhance their teaching skills, and increase their knowledge about the United States. The TEA Program brings international secondary-level teachers to the United States for a six-week program that offers academic seminars focusing on new teaching methodologies, content-based instruction, project-based learning, infusing thematic topics into curriculum, lesson planning, and instructional technology training for teachers. Participants observe classrooms and share their expertise with teachers and students at the host university and at local secondary schools.

Chinese Government Scholarship – Zhejiang Gongshang University

It is an important way to improve the comprehensive level of running a school and the quality of students. It is also an effective way to make full use of educational resources. The College of International Education of ZJSU is the booster and executor of the school’s international education, and plays an important role in it. The college sets four administrative departments: General Office, Admission Office,International Student Management Office and Training Office. Besides, it also sets four teaching departments, including Xiasha language students teaching department, foreign language teaching department, business Chinese and preparatory teaching four teaching departments. The college has 37 faculty members, including 19 full-time teachers of Chinese as a foreign language , all of whom hold master’s degrees, among whom 7 hold doctoral degrees in linguistics.

In recent years, under the guidance of the spirit of, according to the requirements of Zhejiang province and the school planning, the college actively explores the market externally and deeply explores the educational resources internally. At present, more than 40 foreign language teaching majors have been provided to international students, including 15 undergraduate courses, 25 master’s courses and 11 doctoral courses. International students are distributed in 18 discipline colleges. The college also regularly hosts short-term training classes on “Chinese economy”, “Chinese culture”,“Chinese Business” and “Chinese language and Culture” for students from different countries. In recent years, more than 100 countries and regions have sent short-term and long-term international students to study in the university. The total number of international students in the university exceeds 1,000, and the proportion of international students with academic qualifications has greatly increased.

Zhejiang Normal University was founded in 1956. Chinese Government Scholarship – Chinese University Program at Southwest University 2021

Under the direct administration of Southwest University, International College is, on behalf of the university, responsible for international student admission and administration, Chinese language and BTCSOL, MTCSOL programs (programs of Bachelor/Master Degree in Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages) teaching. It was founded in 2008, co-working with Office of International Cooperation and Exchanges, and began to work on its own in April, 2013.

International College is composed of four sections: Administration Office, International Students Admission Office, Student Affairs Office and Department of Chinese Language Teaching. There are over 40 full-time and par-time teachers; half of them are professors/associate professors, and 70% of them have teaching or learning experience abroad.

International College is authorized by Confucius Institute Headquarters, China to enroll international students for one semester Chinese language learning, one academic year Chinese language learning, bachelor degree program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other languages, master degree program of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other languages. Besides being responsible for educating Confucius Institute Scholarship students, International College is responsible for offering compulsory courses such as Surviving Chinese, Survey of China, and Chinese Culture to international students for degree study either in Chinese or in English from other faculties at Southwest University, optional courses such as Chinese Painting, Chinese Knitting, Chinese Handwriting, Chinese Dancing, Chinese Folk Music Appreciation, Chinese Martial Arts, open for all international students at Southwest University.

Yunnan University Admissions for Chinese Government Scholarship International Economic and Trade Bachelor Degree Program 2021

Yunnan University has 26 schools, nine research institutes, a teaching department for general courses, an affiliated hospital and a graduate school, with 16,682 full-time undergraduates and 13,537 full-time graduate students. 2021 Chinese Government Scholarship-Silk Road Program at Tianjin University

Tianjin University, previously known as Peiyang University, was the first modern university in China. Since it was established in 1895, it has been an academic leader in research and teaching, living up to the university motto of “Seeking Truth from Facts”.

The university was renamed Tianjin University (TJU) in 1951. 2021 Chinese Government Scholarship – Ecology Doctoral Degree Program at Yunnan University

School of Ecology and Environmental Science (SEES) at Yunnan University was established based on Yunnan University’s strategy of building world renowned top regional university and establishing top ecology discipline of Chinese higher education. It mainly originates from School of Life Sciences.

The Ecology Discipline in Yunnan University is heir to a long tradition established nearly a century ago in 1937. Since the 1950s, scholars from three main plant ecology schools came to Yunnan Province and conducted research at Yunnan University. They had made great contribution to the development of Ecology in China. Hundreds of professors and scientists were trained as biologists and ecologists. The first ecological master program and doctoral program at Yunnan University started in 1956 and 1989, respectively. The post-doctoral scientific research station was established in 2013.

After seven decades of development, ecology of YNU has a great academic influence at home and abroad. In the 1990s, ecology, as provincial key disciplines and national 211 Project key disciplines, got a continuous development and was listed into national key disciplines at the 10th and 11th Five-Year Plan, becoming the only national key disciplines in ecology in the southwestern China. In 2012, the Ecology Discipline was ranked the second place at the National Discipline Ranking.
SEES has three undergraduate programs, namely Ecology, Environmental Science and Environmental Engineering. The undergraduate programs of both Ecology and Environmental Science are the national featured programs and key programs in Yunnan Province. SEES has built a comprehensive system to train professionals from bachelors, masters, doctors to postdoctoral.
