Chang Gung University (CGU) was established in April, 1987. Among the 159 universities in Taiwan, CGU is ranked at the 5th position and has gained substantial subsidization under the Ministry of Education’s Top-notch Universities Program.
CGU is a research university and currently consists of the College of Medicine, College of Engineering, and College of Management.

3. TA or RA opportunities available
- International students who have been enrolled at CGU can apply for research assistant (RA) or teaching assistant (TA) positions from colleges or advisors.
- The scholarship for each RA recipient of master program is TWD$ 4,000-12,000 per month.
- The scholarship for each RA recipient of PhD program is TWD$8,000~24,000 per month.
