Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT) is the first and the only university in Vietnam to achieve Accreditation from HCERES (Europe) & AUN-QA (ASEAN) at the same time.
In 2017, HCMUT is one of the four universities in Vietnam to be accredited by HCERES (The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education, Europe) at the institutional level; the Third university in ASEAN to receive AUN-QA accreditation at the institutional level.
For program accreditation, HCMUT is the first university in Vietnam to achieve ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology Certification, USA) in 2 majors: Computer Science and Computer Engineering. We also achieved AUN – QA (Quality Assurance in ASEAN University Network Certification) in 9 majors: Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial System Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering and Electrical-Electronic Engineering.
International students can apply from now on for undergraduate programs to get enrolment in Term Fall, 2024.

Step 1. Prepare the following required documents
- International Passport (personal information page)
- High School Certificate/ Diploma
- High School Transcript (Mark sheets/ Academic Records of your studying)
- English Certificate & other relevant documents (optional)
***(required) English Proficiency: IELTS 4.5 or relevant
Students are required to have the mentioned English certificate to apply for admission. Otherwise, students have to take Duolingo English Test and get at least 65 points.
***(preferred) English Proficiency: IELTS 6.0; or TOEFL iBT 79
If admitted students do not have IELTS 6.0 or TOEFL iBT 79, students have to take English course(s) in the Pre-University semester, and have to gain the official mentioned certificates within 01 academic year.
Applicants must refer to the admission requirements before submitting their application.

Remarks:
- The application fee is 50 USD (1,000,000 VND). Students can pay through bank transfer (read instructions here).
- The University starts proceeding with students’ applications when all the required documents are submitted correctly.
