Fu Jen Catholic University is a comprehensive university founded by the Holy See. Originally established in Beijing in 1925, Fu Jen was re-established in Taiwan in 1961. With a history spanning 95 years, the university currently has 12 colleges/schools, 50 undergraduate programs, 49 master’s programs, and 12 PhD programs.

Fu Jen Catholic University Undergraduate and Master’s Scholarships for New International Students
The scholarship is awarded for four consecutive semesters. The scholarship begins in the semester for which the recipient was granted admission and after the recipient has completed registration. The recipient will receive NT$50,000 per semester. The scholarship is disbursed in monthly installments of NT$10,000 after the recipient completes registration for the semester.
Fu Jen Catholic University PhD Scholarship for New International Students
The scholarship is awarded for eight consecutive semesters. The scholarship begins in the semester for which the recipient was granted admission and after the recipient has completed registration. Tuition and miscellaneous fees are waived or reduced as part of the scholarship and the recipient receives a stipend of NT$50,000 per semester. The stipend is disbursed in monthly installments of NT$10,000 after the recipient completes registration for the semester.

- Admission results announced: By May 28, 2021
- Mailing of Certificate of Admission: By June 4, 2021

- Waitlisted applicants notified of admission: July 5 to July 31, 2021
- Check-in and registration: September 2021

Required Documents
- The certificate or diploma of your highest degree: A notarized copy of the translation in Chinese or English is necessary if the original document is in a language other than Chinese or English.
- Complete academic transcripts issued by your school for each year of study: A notarized copy of the translation in Chinese or English is necessary if the original transcript is in a language other than Chinese or English.
- A financial statement showing that you have sufficient funds to study in Taiwan Issued within the past 3 months from a banking institution. A notarized copy of the translation in Chinese or English is necessary if the original document is in a language other than Chinese or English.
- Receipt for application fee: Please note that you must complete Step 1 (Fill out application form) in the application before proceeding to Step 2 (Download forms) to download the remittance details.
- Verification of nationality
- E.g. a photocopy of your passport.
