Universitas Negeri Padang International Scholarship is an in-house scholarship Universitas Negeri Padang (UNP) offers to International Students from all over the globe looking to continue their Undergraduate, Master, or Doctoral Studies at Universitas Negeri Padang, West Sumatra, Indonesia.
Universitas Negeri Padang International Scholarship has two types of provisions:
Full Scholarship
The Full Scholarship of Universitas Negeri Padang International Scholarship includes benefits as the following:
- Tuition fees
- One round-trip flight ticket, which is from home country to UNP at the beginning of the study, and from UNP back to home country after graduation.
- UNP Dormitory cost
- Fees such as VISA, Student Permit, and Health insurance fees.
- Monthly living allowances during the study at Universitas Negeri Padang.
These benefits are provided to the full scholarship’s awardees for a maximum period of 4 years/2 years/4 years for the awardees pursuing bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral Degrees respectively.
Partial Scholarship
The Partial Scholarship of Universitas Negeri Padang International Scholarship covers half of the cost and fees that are fully covered by the Full Scholarship of Universitas Negeri Padang International Scholarship. This includes the following:
- Half of Tuition fees
- Half of One round-trip flight ticket fee, which is from home country to UNP at the beginning of the study, and from UNP back to home country after graduation.
- Half of UNP Dormitory cost
- Half of the fees such as VISA, Student Permit, and Health insurance fees.
Monthly allowances are not provided by Universitas Negeri Padang to the Awardees of the Partial Scholarship.
*Provisions may vary between students. Decisions are under the University’s Management.
To be eligible for the scholarships, every applicant must meet the requirements as follows:
- Be a Non-Indonesian Citizen;
- Be able to communicate in English and willing to learn to communicate in Bahasa Indonesia;
- Bearing a Non-Indonesian Passport;
- Providing the latest academic transcript, and graduation certificate;
- Providing the Political and Employability Statement Letter, Statement of Parents’ Financial Support, and Registration Form, all of which have their templates accessible upon registration.

- Certificate of Graduation
- Academic Transcript
- Political and Employability Statement Letter (Template Provided upon Registration)
- Statement of Parents’ Financial Support (Template Provided upon Registration)
- Registration Form (Template Provided upon Registration)
- Police Clearance Certificate
- Recommendation Letter from the Indonesian Embassy of Applicant’s Country
