Application Instruction
To be eligible for admission, overseas students must submit a high school certificate, an original copy of the official transcript and the Englishproficiencytestscore. Applicants must complete an online application form and mail their educational credentials to BU International, which acts as the first screening body in the selection process. Overseas students must enter Thailand on a non-immigrant visa.

Application Procedures for International Applicants
- To receive an application form and a bulletin of Bangkok University, send a draft of US $28 payable to Bangkok University.
- A completed application form and an application fee of US$ 25 payable to Bangkok University together with the academic documents (e.g. high-school certificate),
- Three l” x l” photographs taken not more than 5 months prior to application
- English-language proficiency test score report: (results are valid for 2 years)
TOEFL 500 PBT, 173CBT, 61 IBT (is eligible for admission without taking an examination but required to take an interview)
IELTS 5.0 in all skills (is eligible for admission without taking both written examination and Interview)
SAT 1,000 in both Critical Reading and Mathematics sections (is eligible for admission without taking an examination but required to take an interview)
GAT English score 100 (is eligible for admission without taking an examination but required to take an interview)
Duolingo English Test (DET) score 80 in all subscore (is eligible for admission without taking both examination and Interview)
BU Test is available if you do not have any test score report
5. The English proficiency test is waived for applicants who are native speakers of English
- Applications from overseas countries should be mailed to Bangkok University International by March if the applicant wishes to attend Bangkok University in the first semester and by September for the second semester.
- The application form will the be scrutinized by the Selection Committee. If selected, the applicant will receive a letter of acceptance from the University which can be used to request a student visa at the Thai Consulate in his/her country.
